'Toy Story 3', 'Shrek' vie for animated Oscar


Toy Story 3, Shrek Forever After and How To Train Your Dragon are among the movies vying for next year's 'Best Animated Film' Oscar.

The longlist of 15 titles will be cut down to three for the nomination announcement on January 25 next year. The Academy Awards ceremony will take place on February 27.

Last year Up took home Pixar's fifth Oscar, following on from victories for Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille and WALL-E.
