Roberts to produce comedy 'Jesus Henry'

Julia Roberts has signed up to produce Dennis Lee's comedy Jesus Henry Christ, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on Lee's Student Academy Award-winning short film, Jesus Henry will centre on an artificially conceived boy, Henry James Hermin, who is raised by a left-wing feminist. Henry discovers a trail of post-it notes around town that he hopes will lead him to his biological father.

Lee will expand his short into a feature-length script and direct. Roberts is reportedly only serving as a producer on the movie and has no plans to star.

Roberts and Lee previously worked together on his directorial debut Fireflies In The Garden.
