Knightley, Paltrow to star in 'King Lear'

Keira Knightley and Gwyneth Paltrow are to star in a big screen adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear, it was announced at Cannes.The pair will play the king's youngest daughter Cordelia and middle daughter Regan respectively.Anthony Hopkins is in line to play the title role. His treacherous eldest daughter Goneril is yet to be cast, reports the Daily Telegraph.The $35 million film, which will feature "epic battle sequences", tells the story of Lear's decision to divide his kingdom amongst his three daughters depending on how well they praise him.
